Jiangling Jenny Tu, M.D., Ph.D., Medical Director - Gynecor

Dr. Tu received her medical degree from Beijing Medical University, and her M. Phil. and PhD from Columbia University, New York.  In 2002, Dr. Tu completed her residency in anatomic pathology and fellowship training in surgical and GYN pathology at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University.  At Columbia University, Dr. Tu trained with renowned GYN pathologists Dr. Ralph Richart, who developed the CIN grading system, and Dr. Thomas Wright, a current leading pathologist on cervix in the US.

Prior to joining Bostwick Laboratories in May 2008, Dr. Tu served as an assistant professor for six years at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she worked closely with Dr. Lora Hedrick-Ellenson, a distinguished pathologist known for her diagnostic expertise involving endometrial carcinoma. While there, Dr. Tu also served on the GYN tumor board for GYN oncologists. As an attending pathologist at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Dr. Tu specialized in urologic and gynecologic pathology.

Dr. Tu is a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists, and has co-authored numerous articles and abstracts.
