Urine Culture & Susceptibility Testing
The culture test includes the quantitation, isolation and identification of up to two organisms at >10,000 colonies/mL. The susceptibility is to determine the Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) susceptibility of a given organism to an antimicrobial agent. Results may be qualitatively reported as Susceptibility (S), Intermediate (I), or Resistant (R).
Preservative collection and transportation materials provided at no cost.
Antibiotic susceptibilities can be adjusted for your selected preference and are based on best practice choices for the organism identification.
Culture ID and susceptibility testing performed from your positive in-house culture media.
